Manchester United are confident Tottenham’s Danny Rose will become a £50m signing in January.

Jose Mourinhos team are desperate for a new left back with Luke Shaw dropping down the pecking order at the club.

Ashley Young has stepped in and played heroically in an unfamiliar role but Mourinho has made Rose his No 1 target.
Rose has not been a mainstay in Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season with Ben Davies often the preferred choice.
The United-target is reported to be disappointed with his situation at Tottenham, and claimed he was furious with being benched for the Arsenal clash.
