PSG’s Marquinhos, Krychowiak to miss Monaco final

Brazilian defender Marquinhos and Polish midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak will miss Saturday’s French League Cup final against Monaco, Paris Saint Germain revealed on Friday.

Neither player was included in the squad published on Friday for the trophy match in Lyon.

Marquinhos was forced off at half-time of Brazil’s 3-0 win over Paraguay on Tuesday with a thigh problem.

Krychowiak, who was also on international duty in midweek, had to quit the Polish camp due to a rib injury.

PSG have won the League Cup a record six times, including the last three editions, while Monaco’s only success in the competition came in 2003.
