Italy have reached an all-time worst FIFA ranking of all time. 20th.

After the disastrous loss against Sweden in the World cup qualification, Italy have fallen to 20th. That is an all time low.

The Azzurri got another defeat to Argentina by 2-0 and later a 1-1 draw versus England in March. They have slipped from 14th.

Italy’s previous worst was when they occupied 17th on two separate occasions in 2015 and 2017.

Italy is World Cup winners on four occasions.

Reigning champions Germany continue to lead the rankings ahead of Brazil, while Belgium is in front of Portugal and Argentina in third place.
